Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge has become an iconic structure that is not only a tourist attraction, but plays an important role in promoting the health of its two communities that it serves. This foot bridge links two cities, Omaha Nebraska and Council Bluffs Iowa, in two states Nebraska and Iowa in the United States. It is a 3000ft long S shaped cable stayed or suspension foot bridge over the Missouri river. It spans the river from Omaha Plaza in Omaha Nebraska riverfront to Tom Hanafan River’s Edge Plaza in Council Bluffs Iowa. Since Omaha is my home, I have spent a lot of time at this bridge, not only to bring you these incredible photos, but to avail myself of the health promoting recreational activities around the bridge. Night time at the bridge is very comforting for me. Enjoy.
